Izzy Dolls

Hi Everyone,

Boy does time fly, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were making Izzy dolls to send with the Nursing students to the Dominican Republic.

They will be again making a trip there at the end of April, and would love to have as many dolls as we can knit for them. Last year you, my wonderful customers, handed in over 250 dolls!

Please note they would rather not have any buttons or beads on them ,and they like to have brown or black faces for them.

Another need is knitted or crocheted washcloths , in cotton and 8x8 inches in size. These are really needed for washing the babies and children. Any colour is welcome!

I have put below a couple of links to patterns for the Izzy dolls and I will have lots of odds and ends of yarn available here at the store free for the taking if you need some for the dolls.

The dolls need to here by April 15th. Please let me know if you need more information about them, or this project. Also, there are lots of great photos of the dolls we sent last year on my blog.

And here are two links to two versions of the pattern
